On Wednesday 9th May I spent the day working with photographer/graphic designer Seb King and writer David F Davies.

We have been let into the lives and creative spaces of some of Somerset’s most valued artists. A big thank you to Pauline Rook, Jane Mackey, Amanda Khan-Davis, Jane Brayne, David Brayne, Val George, Emma Scott and Melanie Moulding so far.

These images will be in the SAW Open Studios Guide 2012 and the portraits will be exhibited at The Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton, Somerset.

A selection of sculpture and drawing by this prominent Devon based artist whose recent group exhibitions have included shows at the Venice Biennale and the Courtauld Institute of Arts. This THG exhibition highlights the diversity in Mat’s work which looks at processes of change through unique combinations of traditional and technological materials.

This exhibition marks a return to the THG after Mat first exhibited here in a group show in 2004. This solo exhibition coincides with the unveiling of his site specific work in response to the coastline of the National Trust Estate at Purbeck to be exhibited in Dorset as part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012.

The Golden Cockerel!

I am off to London play with my pal and old college buddy Nina. We are going to Print Club on Sunday to do some Silk screen printing! ‘Happy feet’ my son’s cockerel is featuring in my artwork. Wish me luck!

The West Orchard – Quality Meat From Happy Rare Breeds

We worked with The West Orchard owner to generate a name, new identity and strapline for the British Saddleback Pedigree pig breeder. The new identity so far has been applied to signage and stationery.

We are planning to have 3 exhibitions/events a year here at the Old School Room and tonight is the launch party of our first one. We are venue 11 in part of the Somerset Art weeks. http://www.somersetartworks.org.uk/node/6606

Yes we have moved in and it is amazing, we are so excited! surrounded by boxes and having a good sort out. Back to work on Monday.

Manyberries gardening and design company is run by Stephen and Claire Puckett. They are based near Castle Cary in Somerset, and work across the South West and beyond. We have worked with them to create this contemporary logo type with an organic illustrative style. The website is to be launched 2/06/11.
